This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for managing all financial operations of the U.S. entity. You will work closely with the VP of Finance and global HQ, owning accounting, cash management, financial reporting, and operational finance processes- you will play an instrumental role in building US accounting operations.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accounting & Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day financial operations of our U.S. entity.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, this individual will take ownership of accounting operations, financial close, cash management, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance processes. You will work closely with the U.S. leadership team, external accounting partners, and our global headquarters in Korea.
This is a high-impact opportunity to help build and strengthen Muskat’s U.S. accounting infrastructure during a critical stage of growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building scalable processes from the ground up.
Manage full-cycle accounting and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial statements.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and support IFRS or group reporting requirements, where applicable.
Coordinate with external CPA firms and tax advisors on tax filings, compliance, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and audit readiness.
Manage cash flow forecasts, liquidity, working capital, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments.
Oversee banking activities, payment prioritization, and other day-to-day treasury operations.
Identify potential cash flow risks and provide timely recommendations to management.
Oversee inventory reconciliation, valuation, cost of goods sold, landed costs, and inventory adjustments.
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve inventory reporting, planning, and financial accuracy.
Review inventory movements, aging, write-offs, and discrepancies.
Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and performance summaries to support business decision-making.
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Coordinate with Korea headquarters to align U.S. financial reporting with group-level standards and requirements.
Support ERP and accounting system implementation and improvements in partnership with Korea headquarters.
Build scalable accounting processes, internal controls, standardized reporting procedures, and finance-related policies.
Identify process gaps and improve the efficiency and accuracy of finance operations.
Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with external payroll and PEO partners.
Support basic employee onboarding and finance-related administrative processes.
Maintain accurate records related to payroll, benefits, and employee expenses.
5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, or a related field.
Hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting, financial close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. accounting practices.
Experience managing cash flow, AP, AR, vendor payments, and working capital.
Experience with inventory accounting, COGS, or product-based businesses is strongly preferred.
Experience working with external CPA firms, tax advisors, or auditors.
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams, countries, and time zones.
Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Experience with inventory accounting, COGS, landed costs, or product-based businesses.
Experience in B2B retail, CPG, beauty, distribution, or wholesale operations.
Experience supporting IFRS, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, or global financial reporting.
Experience implementing or improving ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems.
Experience working with an international headquarters or Korea-based organization.
CPA or an equivalent accounting qualification is a plus but not required.
